At Atoz Watch & Jewellery, we believe shopping should be straightforward. Whether your item is shipped from our UK warehouse or sourced from one of our trusted international partners, we handle the complexities of customs so you don't have to. The price you see at checkout is the final price you pay—no hidden fees, no import taxes upon arrival, and no surprises.
1. Our Promise: No Extra Charges
We guarantee that you will never receive a request for additional payment from a courier or customs office. When you shop with us, you are buying from a UK-based retailer, and we take full responsibility for the import process.
2. How International Shipping Works (DDP)
We use a 'Delivered Duty Paid' (DDP) model. This means that before your item even leaves our supplier, we have contractually ensured they or their broker pay all necessary UK import VAT and customs duties on your behalf. We strictly block any suppliers who cannot guarantee this process, ensuring our customers are fully protected.
3. VAT and Checkout Pricing
- Items £135 or under: We charge UK VAT at checkout. Because we have already accounted for this, you will not be charged again at the border.
- Items over £135: We pre-pay all import VAT, customs duties, and courier handling fees for you. These costs are already built into the product price you see on our website.
4. Why You'll Never Get a Customs Bill
Because we act as the importer of record for every transaction, the customs paperwork is handled by our logistics partners before the item reaches your door. If you ever see our "Duties & VAT included" badge on a product page, you can rest assured that your delivery will arrive without any further demands for payment.
5. Delivery Times
- UK-stocked items: Usually delivered within 24–48 hours.
- International DDP items: Typically arrive within 3–14 days.
6. Returns & Refunds
If you need to return an item, you deal directly with us at Atoz. You will never need to contact or send items back to our overseas suppliers. Our standard UK returns policy applies to every order, regardless of where the item originated.
